Two People Shot at Apartment Complex Pool

LOCATION:  4971 Martin Luther King
AREA/CITY:  Houston
DETAILS:

1. HPD and HFD responded to reports of a shooting
2. Arriving units located 2 gunshot victims at the pool of an apartment complex
3. there was a large group of people both inside the pool area and outside the complex, and the crowds became unruly
4. HPD officers dropped an assist, and dozens of units responded to the scene to help with the crowds
5. 1 male in his 30s sustained a gunshot wound to the leg
6. 1 male in his 20s sustained multiple gunshot wounds, in critical condition
7. Both transported to local trauma centers
8. several parties have been detained at scene
9. The pool area of the complex is a mess, with shell casings and blood along with peoples property strewn throughout the entire area
10. Investigators are en route to determine the circumstances of the shooting
