DETAILS:
- Officers responded to a shooting.
- Two Hispanic males were walking and eating ice cream when a vehicle carrying four suspects came up to them and started shooting.
- One victim was shot in the side of the stomach.
- The second victim was shot in the arm.
- Officers arrived and immediately began rendering aid.
- Houston Fire Department transported both victims to a local hospital.
- Both victims are in stable condition.
- Officers patrolling the 6100 block of West Tidwell located one suspect nearby.
- That suspect was detained and provided information about the suspect vehicle and the other suspects and is being interviewed by detectives.
- The shooting appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
