Two People Displaced After House Fire

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-22-25 1:40pm
LOCATION: 2040 S Nevada St
AREA/CITY: Oceanside
DETAILS:

1. At around 1:40pm reports of a residential fire came out at the address listed above.
2. firefighters in route could see a large plume of smoke and the fire was upgraded to a working fire.
3. firefighters located a fire to the rear of the home and were able to quickly extinguish it.
4. 2 people and a cat were displaced and were receiving assistance from Red Cross.
5. the cause of the fire is under investigation
