Two Patients Trapped in Brutal Crash | Claremont

06.20.2021 | 4:16 AM | CLAREMONT – CHP received reports of a tire on the freeway that vehicles were trying to avoid.

Originally, two vehicles hit the tire & pulled to the shoulder, but two additional vehicles also crashed although unsure if they crashed into debris or a vehicle.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered a Mini Cooper with two patients trapped. Firefighters used the “Jaws of Life” to extract the patients out of the vehicle.

Both patients were transported in serious conditions. CHP has the I-10 Eastbound lanes closed while they are on scene.
