Two Killed in Violent Fiery Crash | Houston

05.30.2021 | 2:01 AM | HOUSTON – Preliminary reports are, A HPD officer was traveling eastbound on the East freeway.

A Dodge Hellcat Charger passed him in the fast lane at a high rate of speed. The officer activated his lights in order to try and catch up to the Charger.

He then saw in the distance the Charger crash into several cars. At least 4 cars were involved.

A F150 was on its side, another vehicle caught fire. The driver of the vehicle that caught fire was able to get out but two other passenger did not and died in the fire.

They were pronounced deceased at the scene. A total of 4 people were transported by ambulance.

The driver of the Dodge Hellcat Charger has been detained (Older male black wearing burgundy shirt).

Investigation is underway.
