Two Killed In Plane Crash Near Summit Valley Road

Two people were killed Thursday morning after a plane crashed near Summit Valley Road in Hesperia.

At approximately 10 a.m. on September 24, 2026, San Bernardino County firefighters and sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a downed aircraft near Summit Valley Road.

When emergency crews arrived, they located a plane that appeared to have crashed just south of the roadway.Two people were confirmed dead following the crash. Their identities were not immediately available.

The circumstances leading up to the crash remain unknown. Law enforcement personnel remained at the scene as the investigation continued.
