DETAILS:

  • Scottsdale Police and Scottsdale Fire responded to a report of a golf cart struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Scottsdale Road and Oak Street around 2:00 AM.
  • Upon arrival, crews found 2 golf carts and a sedan with collision damage blocking lanes of travel.
  • One unconscious occupant from one of the involved golf carts was located in the roadway unresponsive.
  • Paramedics were seen administering an Ambu-bag for manual resuscitation.
  • The patient was transported to a local trauma center with serious injuries.
  • A second unidentified patient was transported in unknown condition to a local hospital.
  • A hard closure has been established for the intersection while Scottsdale Police Investigate.
