Two Ejected, One Trapped, All Critical In Possible Inhalant DUI Crash

LOCATION: 7315 INDIANA AVE.

DETAILS:
- Riverside Police Department and Riverside Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a single-vehicle traffic collision that rolled several times with its occupants ejected and trapped.
- When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found a single vehicle with major damage up against a pole.
- One occupant was trapped in the vehicle, two others had been ejected.
- Firefighters extricated the trapped occupant and he was transported to a local area hospital.
- The two ejected occupants were also transported to local area hospitals.
- According to the Battalion Chief, all three occupants were in critical condition.
- At this time, it is believed that the occupants were driving under the influence as police found a large blue canister of some type of gas in the vehicle and believed that it was being used as an inhalant.
- The scene is under investigation, and the injured occupant’s current condition is not known.
