Two Dead in Horrific Wrong-Way Tesla Crash | Rialto

06.28.2021 | 7:37 PM | RIALTO – CHP responded to reports of a wrong way driver on the I-210 freeway. Approximately 15 minutes later, at 7:52 PM, reports came in that the vehicle collided head on with another vehicle.

Both vehicles “exploded on impact” and “burst into flames” according to reports. There were still parties trapped in the vehicles while they were burning.

It is unclear how many were killed. (Visually confirmed at least two). One was transported to a local area hospital in an unknown condition.

The vehicle driving the wrong way is believed to be a Tesla. The cause of the crash is unknown.

Lanes of the I-210 remain closed as the incident is being investigated.
