Two Arrested After LAPD Pursuit Ends In Boyle Heights Crash

Two young men were arrested early Sunday morning after an LAPD pursuit through Los Angeles ended in a crash near Boyle Heights.

The pursuit traveled in and out of South Los Angeles and along the 110 Freeway, ranging from the downtown area to as far south as 190th Street.

At approximately 5:15 a.m. on September 13, 2026, the pursuit came to an end after the driver crashed while exiting the eastbound 101 Freeway at Mission Road.

Two young men were taken into custody following the crash.

No information was immediately available regarding what prompted the pursuit, how long it lasted, whether anyone was injured in the crash or what charges the two suspects could face.

The investigation remains ongoing.
