Two-Alarm House Fire Leaves Home Destroyed in Tustin

At approximately 1:03am on March 24th, 2026, Orange County Fire Authority crews responded to reports of a structure fire at a home on Marshall Lane in Tustin after neighbors reported hearing glass breaking.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage area of the residence. The incident was quickly upgraded to a second alarm as crews worked to contain the fire.

A resident from the home was transported by ambulance to a local hospital in unknown condition. Authorities stated it was believed no other occupants were inside the residence at the time of the fire.

Approximately 30 minutes into the incident, the roof of the home collapsed as firefighters continued their efforts. It took more than an hour for crews to bring the main body of the fire under control.

Arson investigators responded to the scene and began preliminary investigations into the cause of the fire.
