Tustin: Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Car

06.18.2019 | 9:30 PM | TUSTIN – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck while crossing in an unmarked crosswalk, Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of 17th Street and Holt Avenue around 9:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male pedestrian down in the roadway and a vehicle with damage stopped nearby.

Firefighter paramedics treated the pedestrian on scene before transporting him to a nearby trauma center with serious injuries.

The driver that struck the man remained on scene and appeared to be cooperating with law enforcement.

An investigation is ongoing.
