Tujunga: Driver Ejected After Launching Car Off Cliff

05.17.2020 | 12:39 AM | LOS ANGELES – A driver was ejected after launching his vehicle off a cliff, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle over the side on Little Tujunga Canyon Road near Mile Marker 11.86 in the Tujunga area around 12:39 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a blue vehicle on its roof approximately 100 feet over the side of a cliff.

Firefighter paramedics found the driver in heavy brush after being ejected and worked to rescue the man.

After a nearly two hour operation the driver was airlifted from the scene and transported to Holy Cross Medical Center.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
