Truck Makes Surprise Confession at Church | Escondido

08.09.2021 | 5:04 AM | ESCONDIDO – The male driver of a work truck was driving southbound on N Ash when he told the Police that he was reaching for a pack of cigarettes and the truck drifted to its right and struck a parked Chevy SUV.

The driver lost control and left the street hitting the water pipe that goes to the church.

The truck continued into the church, going all of the ways in.

The driver was not injured.

There is heavy damage both inside and outside of the church.

The City Building Inspector has informed the church to not use that side of the church which is their main auditorium for their services.

The church has no water or electricity at this time.
