Tree Trimmer Dies After Being Trapped In Tree

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 11-29-23,
LOCATION: 7075 E. Blackbird Lane
CITY: Anaheim
DETAILS:

1. Anaheim Fire Department responded to a reported tree trimmer who was stuck in a tree.
2. When units arrived they found a man trapped in a approx. 100 foot tall pine tree.’
3. A total of four USAR teams were on scene, three as mutual aid.  Anaheim Fire and Rescue primary, and Orange City Fire, Huntington Beach FD, and Orange County Fire Department USAR teams were on scene as mutual aid.
4. Recovery took over 2 hours.
