Trash Truck VS Tesla In San Diego, CA

LOCATION: Del Dios Highway & Camino del Norte
AREA/CITY: Rancho Santa Fe
DETAILS:

1. At around 2:05 PM reports of a crash came out at the intersection listed above.
2. On arrival first responders located a trash truck that had T-bones a Tesla.
3. The driver of the Tesla was unable to self extricate.
4. after a short time Firefighters were able to free the driver of the Tesla.
5. The driver was transported To Palomar hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
6. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. But is under investigation.
