Transients Chase And Catch Arsonist | San Bernardino

12.22.2021 | 4:08 PM | SAN BERNARDINO – Firefighters were dispatched to reports of a a rubbish fire off of Waterman Ave and Orange Show.

Upon arriving on scene Fire fighters found a small brush fire however while beginning to extinguish the fire, spotted a second fire near by.

While assessing the situation they quickly noticed a man with a gas can and witnessed him starting a 3rd and fourth fire.

As they called for additional resources and Law enforcement, the suspect continued to start more fires.

Law enforcement and fire fighters all searched for the fleeing subject.

transients from all over the area assisted in extinguishing the fires and also chased down the suspect.

Law enforcement officials found the suspect being held down by several transients and a machete.

Law enforcement took  the suspect into custody as firefighters finished extinguishing the multiple fire.
