Train Slams into Semi Stopped on The Track

LOCATION: N Vineland Ave & E Valley Blvd
AREA/CITY: Industry
DETAILS:

1. Approximately 11:47am LACoFD and the City Of Industry Sheriffs responded to a vehicle vs train
2. upon arrival there was a semi truck carrying unknown supplies was struck by a train. The trailer was struck by the train, at this time the driver of the semi is unknown.
3. The trailer is being lifted and loaded onto a semi tow truck.
4. No other injuries were reported,  and the cause is unknown at this time if the semi was broke down or if the driver didn’t seee the rail crossings
5. Valley Blvd is backed up and will be for and unknown amount of time
