Tragic Phoenix Car Accident – Fatal Crash on Thomas Road

Phoenix Police and Phoenix Fire crews responded to reports of a vehicle collision near the intersection of West Thomas Road and South 67th Avenue at approximately 10:45 pm, Friday night.

Units arrived on the scene, locating a 2 vehicle crash with one of the involved vehicles on its roof and one person ejected.

Phoenix Fire crews pronounced the unidentified ejected occupant deceased on the scene.

Officers were seen administering a field sobriety test to an involved adult female on the scene.

The results of the test are unknown.

A hard closure has been established for Thomas Road in both directions west of 67th Avenue.
