Tractor Trailer Overturns on Texas Highway

At approximately 11:00pm on March 11th, 2026, emergency crews responded to a tractor trailer rollover near the southbound State Highway 288 exit ramp just before State Highway 6 in Manvel, Texas.

Upon arrival, authorities located an overturned semi truck blocking the exit ramp and feeder road. The crash prompted officials to shut down the ramp and close at least one lane on southbound Highway 288 as emergency crews worked at the scene.

Manvel Police, Manvel Fire Department, and TXDOT personnel responded to the incident. Environmental response crews from Masters ARS were also called to the scene after the truck’s diesel engine began leaking fuel.

Officials stated the truck was transporting groceries at the time of the crash.

The cause of the rollover remained under investigation.
