Toyota Celica Catches Fire | Glendale
11.26.2022 | 4:00 AM | Glendale – Phoenix Fire crews responded to reports of a vehicle engulfed in flames at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Maryland Avenue around 4:00 AM.
Upon arrival crews found the vehicle consumed by heavy flames blocking the intersection.
Crews deployed a single handline achieving a quick knock down.
The owner of the Celica stated he felt the vehicle wasn’t running right but decided to attempt to drive it home.
The vehicle began to smoke and quickly caught fire.
The driver was able to safely exit the vehicle without injuries before the flames could spread to the vehicles interior.
