Tory Carlon’s Daughter Presented His Turnouts at Graduation | Santa Clarita
06.03.2021 | 6:00 PM | SANTA CLARITA – Tory Carlon, a firefighter with the Los Angeles County Fire Department who was killed at FS 81 Tuesday, had his daughter, Joslyn, graduate Saugus High School today at a ceremony held at College of the Canyons
More than 300 firefighters with LA County, along with LASD SCV deputies and Captain, Santa Barbara Sheriffs, LAFD and LAPD officials all gathered to line the way into the ceremony for Tory’s daughter and family.
Joslyn was presented her late father’s turnouts, laid at the feet of a photo of her dad.
Carlon’s good friend, a Santa Barbara County Sheriff, walked beside Joslyn the entire time, and can be seen carrying her late fathers turnouts to set next to the family in the stands.
Her cap had a photo of her and father on it.
Other family of the Carlon’s were escorted onto Quint 104 to watch the ceremony.
Saugus High School graduates had a tough year, being sent to online school due to COVID about a year after a school shooting where a peer opened fire in the quad that left 3 dead including the shooter.
Joslyn will walk across the stage to accept her diploma with hundreds of officials standing by her side.
