Three killed In Fiery Rollover Crash

- On July 28th, 2024, at about 2:43 AM, CHP, County Fire, Rialto Fire, and AMR responded to a traffic collision with fire on the Westbound 210 Freeway just East of Riverside Ave.
- CHP arrived first at the scene and located a single vehicle rollover down the right shoulder embankment on fire.
- After further investigation, an ejected party was located near the vehicle.
- CHP officers were able to pull the victim away from the burning vehicle and started life-saving measures.
- San Bernardino County Fire arrived at the scene and worked to provide medical treatment and extinguish the fire.
- The victim was transported in critical condition, with CPR in progress.
- Two additional victims were located who had been ejected from the vehicle and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
- Firefighters searched the area with thermal imaging cameras for additional victims, but no other victims were located.
- According to a witness, the vehicle crashed into the center divider and crossed all lanes before going over the right shoulder embankment and catching fire.
- A total of one person was transported but later died at the hospital, and two were pronounced at the scene.
- CHP is investigating the crash.
- Victims are reported to be a 57 year old woman, her 18 year old son, and her 19 year old daughter. The Mother and Son died at the scene and the Daughter died at hospital.
