Third Alarm Fire Destroys Three Homes | Bloomington

02.25.2021 | 12:20 AM | BLOOMINGTON – Authorities responded to reports of a house on fire at 10713 Tamarind Ave.

The first arriving engine reported one home fully involved in a fire, with two other homes starting to catch fire. Firefighters quickly went to work in an attempt, to save the home and nearby structures.

The fire quickly grew to the high winds fueling the flames. The fire spread to nearby homes and the vegetation.

A second alarm was requested and eventually, a third alarm was also requested.

Residents can be seen loading their vehicles in case they are asked to evacuate. Many residents were asleep and were woken up by law enforcement officers banging on their doors

The Red Cross was called to assist with the displaced residents.

The cause of the fire is not known at this time and is under investigation.
