Thief Steals Jewelry in Early Morning Heist

LOCATION: Fashion Valley Mall
AREA/CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:
- Burglar alarms sounded at approximately 4:00 a.m., and a second alarm sounded at 4:15 a.m.
- Mall Security found that a glass window had been broken on a second-floor entrance to the store.
- Police arrived and searched the store and found several jewelry cases had been smashed, and watches and jewelry had been stolen.
- The surveillance video showed that one male suspect had been in the store for approximately 7 minutes.
- After getting inside on the second floor, he went to the 1st floor and back up to the second floor.
- The thief left a bag and his crowbar at the scene.
- The dollar loss is not known at this time
