Theft Crew Caught On Camera Stealing Truck In West Hills

At approximately 3:00 a.m. on May 2, 2026, officers responded to a reported burglary in progress on Highlander Road in West Hills after both residents and an alarm company alerted authorities.

Homeowners say a crew of five suspects had been seen in the neighborhood days earlier and were previously captured on surveillance cameras approaching the property before fleeing after being confronted.

According to residents, the same group returned days later and successfully stole a Denali truck from the driveway.

The stolen vehicle reportedly contained expensive tools and personal paperwork belonging to the homeowner.

Neighbors gathered overnight to share additional surveillance footage showing a suspected getaway vehicle parked nearby.

Residents in the area say they are increasingly concerned following a series of burglaries and thefts in the neighborhood.
