DETAILS:
- City of Riverside Fire Department responded at 8:09 a.m. to a report of a vegetation fire in the 400 block of Columbia Avenue. The fire is approximately 2 Acres with a potential for 75 acres. Air resources have been requested as well as additional engines. Requesting engines to report for structure defense at the end of Mt Vernon.
- The fire is now 35 acres, per incident command. Five additional Type 3 engines and two water tenders requested. There is still a moderate structure threat on Mount Vernon side. EVACUTION WARNINGS ARE IN PLACE.
- THE FIRE IS 35% CONTAINED AS OF 12:45 P.M. AND HAS BEEN MAPPED AT 57.7 ACRES.-EVACUATION ORDERS HAVE BEEN LIFTED.
