Tesla Passenger Trapped After Crash

Troopers, Phoenix Fire, and AMR responded to reports of a multi-vehicle traffic accident on the I-10 westbound near 91st Ave around 1:30 a.m.

Troopers arrived and located a crash involving two Teslas, a red Toyota Corolla and a white passenger car.

Several Phoenix Police officers stopped out to assist.

The passenger of one of the Teslas was trapped inside of the mangled car and needed to be extricated.

According to DPS radio traffic:
Witnesses saw one of the Tesla drivers flee the scene; it is unclear which Tesla belonged to the possible fleeing suspect.

The passenger was extricated by firefighters and transported in unknown condition by AMR ambulance.

AMR transported two additional people from the scene.
