Tesla Fire Spreads Into Brush In San Diego

LOCATION: 14373 Highland Valley Rd
AREA/CITY: SAN Diego
DETAILS:

1. At around 7:40 pm reports of a vehicle into a tree came out at the address listed above.
2. A short time later The caller stated that the vehicle was on fire.
3. firefighters arrived and located a fully engulfed Tesla with fire spreading into the vegetation.
4. firefighters could keep the blaze to a little over a 1/4 Acre.
5. 1 person was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.
6. Hazmat was requested for the Tesla battery.
