Tesla Driver Dead After Fiery Crash

DETAILS:
- First responders were dispatched to a vehicle accident involving a Tesla and a traffic signal with fire.
- Arriving units spotted the Tesla on fire near the southwest corner of Madrona Ave & Plaza Del Amo.
- Firefighters worked quickly to contain the fire, but after one and a half hours, the vehicle was still on fire, with the victim still inside.
- Torrance Police did confirm this was a fatal vehicle accident; however, they did not specify how many were deceased.
- Madrona Ave & Plaza Del Amo will be closed for an extensive amount of time while they continue with the investigation.
