Tesla Crashes Into Living Room of Riverside Home
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-27,25, 9:07 pm

DETAILS:
- Riverside Fire Department and Riverside Police Department responded to reports of a vehicle into a house in the Orangecrest neighborhood.
- When units arrived on scene they found one vehicle, a Tesla that had completely went into the Living room of a residence
- There were six people in the home at the time of the incident.
- At this time, Riverside Fire Department flagged the home until city inspectors could evaluate the structural integrity, tomorrow/Sunday, displacing the residents who refused Red Cross assistance and will be staying with family members.
- No injuries were reported except for minor injuries for the driver.
- At this time it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were a factor but the crash is under investigation.
- According to the SOT’s, they were hanging out and went into the kitchen to make Ramen, when they heard the loud crash and assisted the driver.
- In the video, you can see the upstairs window is shattered from the impact.
- A Battalion Chief, An engine, one truck and a Rescue team from Station 3 responded to the scene and closed the incident after 1 hr. and 54 mins.
- The Tesla still has paper plates, indicating it is a new car.
