Temple City: Child Critically Injured After Being Pinned By Van

05.02.2020 | 8:52 PM | TEMPLE CITY – A nine-year-old child was critically injured after being pinned by van, Saturday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 5300 block of Rosemead Boulevard around 8:52 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a nine-year-old child pinned by a van after being struck.

Firefighter paramedics quickly fred the child before transporting them to USC Medical Center with a sheriff escort.

The child reportedly sustained severe head trauma and is in critical condition.

The driver that struck the child remained on scene and was cooperating with law enforcement.

All southbound lanes of Rosemead Boulevard were closed just south of Broadway while deputies investigate.
