Teen Killed, Another Injured in Shooting at Houston Block Party

A shooting call came in just before 11 p.m. in the 3800 block of Hitchcock Lane.

Officers arrived and encountered a large crowd at what is believed to be a block party.

A female with a gunshot wound to the leg and a male with a gunshot wound to the stomach were found.

Both victims, believed to be juveniles, were transported to a nearby hospital.

The female is believed to be in stable condition.

The male was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Police have little information at this time about what led to the shooting.
