Teen Driver Killed In Houston Crash After Being Ejected

At approximately 3:40 a.m. on April 12, 2026, a fatal crash occurred in the 1200 block of Maxine in Houston.

According to investigators at the scene, the driver was believed to be traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control while crossing over railroad tracks. The vehicle then struck a ditch, overturned, and the driver was ejected.

The driver, who was possibly in his teens, was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other occupants were located in the vehicle.

The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation as officials continue to examine the circumstances.
