- According to Phoenix Police,
- Officers and Phoenix Fire crews responded to reports of a person shot outside and apartment complex.
- Upon arrival, officers located a teenage victim shot multiple times.
- The victim was rushed to a local trauma center in critical condition.
- A second gunshot victim was located outside 12924 South 48th Street, approximately 1 block north of the apartment complex shooting scene.
- The adult male victim was found in a Nissan sedan riddled with multiple bullet holes.
- The sedan was found off the roadway in a landscape area outside a local business.
- Fire crews responded to the location and pronounced the second gunshot victim deceased on scene.
- Homicide detectives are on scene working to piece together an extensive crime scene.
- 48th Street is closed in both directions between Warner Road and Wakial Loop.
- The closure is expected to remain in place for several hours as detectives work the scene.
