Technical Rescue After Wall Collapses on Workers in Lennox

DETAILS:
- Los Angeles County Fire Department responded for a technical rescue
- When units arrived, they found that it was not a building, but some type of wall had collapsed on multiple people.
- Several rescue teams from Los Angeles County Fire responded to assist, including LAFD USAR.
- There were a total of 3 victims, 2 were able to self extricate.
- One was transported suffering from unknown injuries, One refused transport and one victim required an extended extrication that took about an hour.
- He was transported suffering from unknown injuries, in stable condition.
- HERT, UCLA’s response team also responded for additional medical personnel at the scene.
- The 3 victims were part of a construction company who was working at the site, it appears that the wall gave out due to oversaturated soil from the recent heavy rains.
