Sylmar: Violent Crash Traps Man Inside Truck
12.29.2019 | 11:01 PM | LOS ANGELES – A man was trapped inside a pickup truck after a violent crash, late Sunday night.
Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with a person possibly trapped in the 14700 block of Polk Street in the Sylmar area around 11:01 PM.
Units arriving on scene located a two-vehicle crash involving a silver sedan and a black pickup truck.
The male driver of the pickup was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by firefighter paramedics.
The driver of the pickup and two occupants from the sedan all suffered injuries and were transported area hospitals for treatment.
The cause of the violent crash remains under investigation.
