Sylmar: Vehicle Fire Damages Strip Mall

12.31.2019 | 4:13 AM | LOS ANGELES – A vehicle fire damaged a strip mall after flames spread, early Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle fire burning in the 13500 block of Hubbard Street in the SYlmar area around 4:13 AM.

Crews arriving on scene located a Dodge Durango engulfed in heavy fire near a strip mall.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames and prevent major damage to the strip mall however one wall suffered minor damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
