Sylmar: Intense Fire Burns Home, Nearby Trees
08.26.2019 | 10:14 PM | LOS ANGELES – An intense fire burned a home to the ground and torched nearby trees, Monday night.
Authorities responded to reports of a structure fire burning in the 15100 block of Paddock Street in the Sylmar neighborhood around 10:14 PM.
Units arriving on scene located a home engulfed in heavy fire and began efforts to extinguish the blaze.
It took roughly 38 firefighters and 25 minutes to knock down the flames which torched nearby vegetation including several trees.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
