Sylmar: Good Samaritans Help Rescue Family Semi Truck Overturns

02.02.2020 | 12:31 AM | LOS ANGELES – A family of four, including two children, were freed from the cab of an overturned semi truck with the help of good samaritans, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of an overturned semi truck with occupants of the truck trapped inside on eastbound I-210 Freeway near Maclay Street in the Sylmar area around 12:31 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a truck hauling onions that had overturned.

Two adults and two children were initially trapped in the cab of the truck but good samaritans helped free the family before first responders arrived.

All four of the occupants suffered only minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
