Sylmar: Firefighters Rescue Trapped Victims After Crash

11.17.2018 | 7:10 PM | SYLMAR – Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to extricate trapped victims after a two car crash, Saturday night.

Firefighters responded to the intersection of De Garmo Avenue and Foothill Boulevard shortly after 7:00 PM regarding reports of a crash.

Crews arriving on scene located a two car crash with the occupants of one vehicle trapped in the wreckage.

Firefighters use the jaws of life to extricate a male and female from one vehicle before transporting them to a local hospital.

The occupants of the other vehicle were uninjured.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division is investigating the crash.
