SWAT Standoff Leads To 3 Found Dead In Home | Lakeside

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-30-22 11:33 pm LOCATION: 13500 I-8 Business CITY: Lakeside DETAILS: Residents called 911 to report of at least 3 shots were heard coming a residence in the Ridgecrest Community Mobile Home Park. A woman was seen crawling out of a bedroom window of a trailer and she got into a truck and left the scene. Neighbors had told the Sheriff Deputies that there was a family gathering and children had been present. Deputies arrived and made call outs to the residence and there was no answer. Several of the nearby residences were evacuated. The Sheriff’s SWAT Team was called in after several hours. The SWAT team broke out a living room window. A loud explosion was heard when the Deputies breached the front door. The SWAT flew a small drone through the broken window to get a better observation of the inside. Then SWAT entered and discovered at least three people were dead. It’s not known, if one of the dead is the suspect. The Sheriff’s Homicide will be investigating. More video and information to come.
