SWARM OF BEES ATTACKS TWO PEOPLE & FOUR HORSES

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 8-9-24, 7:37 p.m.
LOCATION: 52^nd Street and Beach St
AREA/CITY: Jurupa Valley
DETAILS:

1. Firefighters responded to a reported person that was being attacked by a swarm of bees.
2. When they arrived, they found two people being attacked as well as 4 horses.
3. Both patients were transported to a local area hospital, one in critical, the other with moderate injuries.
4. Two of the horses are fine but suffering multiple bee stings, one is still down and in critical status and another is deceased. The horse still down is not expected to survive.
5. Firefighters used foam to get the hive down.
