SUV Slams Into Utility Pole In San Bernardino

A driver was hospitalized after an SUV slammed into a utility pole early Thursday morning in San Bernardino.

At approximately 12:33 a.m. on August 20, 2026, emergency crews responded to West Foothill Boulevard just east of Macy Street following reports of a traffic collision.

Crews arrived to find an SUV with major damage after it crashed into a utility pole.

The driver, who was the sole occupant of the SUV, was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

Southern California Edison was requested to the scene to replace the heavily damaged utility pole.
