Suspicious Structure & RV Fires | Ventura

08.05.2021 | 2:00 AM | VENTURA – Ventura City Fire crews responded to a call of a structure fire in the 1700 block of Callens Rd.

When crews arrived on scene, they found the front office of a small, vacant warehouse fully-engulfed in flames.

It was reported that the building may have contained hazardous materials inside.

The fire was knocked down in approximately 22 minutes. An arson investigator was called to the scene.

Additionally, fire crews also responded a call of a fully-engulfed RV in the 2700 block of Sherwin Ave while battling the structure fire.

Crews arrived and knocked the RV fire down in approximately 15 minutes.

Circumstances for this fire are suspicious as well. It is unknown if both incidents are related at this time.
