Suspicious Fire Forces Evacuation of Walmart | San Diego

03.10.2022 | 10:51 AM | SAN DIEGO – A fire of unknown cause broke out behind the Wal-mart store. The fire was burning cardboard and pallets and smoke could be seen from throughout the south county. Burning cardboard was blowing in the winds and the store was evacuated for safety reasons and firefighters were sent to the roof of the store. SDFD Copter 3 was used by dropping water on the intense flames. Security video will be viewed to find the cause of the fire and if it’s deemed to be arson, the MAST Team will be requested.
