Suspects Wanted For Assault On A Police Officer Crash Into Power Pole
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 115am 12-4-23
LOCATION: Southbound 45 feeder at Airtex
CITY: Houston
DETAILS:
- at approximately 1am, Montgomery County dispatch came over the radio on HCCO Precinct 4, requesting assistance with a pursuit coming Southbound on 45
- Per dispatch to dispatch communications, Moco dispatcher advised that a BMW was being pursued by Splendora and Moco after a felony, and the suspect rammed a patrol car
- Precinct 4 setup at different locations with spike strips to assist in the pursuit, and DPS 112 was overhead when the suspect exited the freeway and crashed into a power pole, trapping the occupant
- LYFD responded and spent about 15-20 min extricating the passenger
- Passenger was transported to Houston NW with life threatening injuries
- The driver was taken into custody without incident
- HCSO Traffic units are going to map the scene as a possible fatality
