Suspects Detained in Major Injury Hit & Run Crash | San Diego
10.09.2021 | 7:12 PM | SAN DIEGO – A male and a female were crossing the intersection at 30th St & Thorn St on electric scooters when the male was hit by the driver of a large white pick-up truck.
The truck when down the street and stopped and then left the scene.
The victim suffered a compound fracture to an ankle and a broken shoulder.
He was transported with major injuries to a local hospital.
At 7:40 pm, a truck matching the description came out of an alley onto Lincoln Ave and hit an older woman in her Toyota Prius.
She suffered unknown injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The male driver of the truck along with his female passenger stayed at the scene.
The Police have detained them for questioning in the 1st crash as their truck matches the description of the hit & run suspects.
