Suspected DUI Driver Rolls SUV Off Railroad Bridge | Ventura

03.22.2022 | 2:27 AM | VENTURA – Ventura Police officers responded to a call from a male stating he hard rolled his SUV onto the railroad tracks but did not provide further details as to his exactly location.

Officers searched the railroad tracks near the downtown area and located the male and his vehicle in the Ventura River bottom just west of the trestle behind the Ventura County Fairgrounds.

The male somehow managed to drive onto the trestle followed by driving off of it and landing upside down in the river bottom.

The male was evaluated on scene by paramedics and is suspected of DUI.
