Suspected DUI Driver Hits Multiple Parked Cars

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-17-24, 11:43 p.m.
LOCATION: 410 E. Chapman Ave

DETAILS:

1. According to Sgt. K. Hampton with Fullerton Police Department, Fullerton Police and Fullerton Fire responded to reports of a subject driving a newer model convertible Camaro who had hit multiple parked vehicles, parked in front of an taco bar and other open businesses.
2. 1. A Mercedes-Benz 2. A Audi and 3. A commercial van.
3. Units arrived and found 3 parked vehicles that sustained major damage and down the road, the Camaro with major damage.
4. After the man hit the parked cars, good Samaritans followed him and called 911
5. Police performed field sobriety tests and the man was eventually taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the Influence.
6. No injuries were reported.
